FORT MYERS, Fla. - Melana P. Shuttic, 94, of Fort Myers, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
She was an employee of General Electric for 35 years.
She was an avid ballroom dancer, loved flower gardening and cooking, and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Thomas (Mary) Petro; a stepson, William Shuttic; two grandchildren, Nancy and Joseph Petro; a sister, Lillian Klus; and stepgrandsons, Michael and William Shuttic.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Michael Shuttic and Andrew Petro; and six brothers and sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Columbkille Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 HealthPark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
