WARREN - Dolores Jean Ward, 82, of Warren, died Monday, June 25, 2012, at Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.
She was born Oct. 16, 1929, in New Castle, Pa., the daughter of the late Walter and Charlotte White Rhodes.
Dolores was a homemaker and was an awesome cook. She also enjoyed gardening, crafts and ceramics.

She was a member of the Champion Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Ward, whom she married Jan. 19, 1994; her daughter, Lisa Beachler of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Ida May Lamm of New Castle, Pa., and one brother, Charles (Audreene) Rhodes of New Castle, Pa.; three grandchildren, Raquel Cohen, Derek Beachler and Luke Beachler; and one great-grandson, Ami Cohen.
Other than her parents, Dolores was preceded in death by her siblings, Winifred Anderson and Walter Rhodes.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where the Rev. Kenneth Hopkins will officiate.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 pm. Thursday at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Meadow Brook Memorial Park, Warren.
The family requests that material contributions be made to Hospice House of Poland, in her memory.
