BOARDMAN - Juan "John" Acevedo, 58, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, June 20, 2012.
He was born Nov. 23, 1953, in Youngstown, the son of Juan and Carmen Lebron Acevedo.
Juan was a graduate of Campbell Memorial High School and a dedicated nutritional associate for more than 20 years at St. Elizabeth Health Center.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Carmen; his sons, Travis and Eliott Acevedo; his daughter, Camille Acevedo; brothers, Rafael and Angel Acevedo; sister, Maria Gonzalez; and his companion of 16 years, Diann Abraham.
He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Acevedo and son Brian Acevedo.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012.
Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 8 p.m., conducted by Pastor Bill Rotar. There will be a private family interment.
