DEAR EDITOR:
The purpose of this letter is not only to refute the editorial from the Tribune in regard to Mayor Franklin and Law Director Hicks' actions with regard to Warren "spas" but to chastise whomever wrote it.
Franklin and Hicks have lived in our town for their lifetime. They are competent, caring and diligent men of our community. As has been realized, the editorialist is neither a local, gives credibility to a recently relocated hometown boy (Dennis Blank) and busts our mayor and law director.
Having said that, I encourage Denny Blank to ease in. I believe he has great ideas. Sometimes we need a shot of enthusiasm.
But to disparage the mayor and Mr. Hicks does no benefit.
So Tribune editorial board, be careful where you tread. As Warrenites we prefer making a fist - uniting all the finger pointing. Welcome Dennis Blank and thank you Doug Franklin and Greg Hicks for your years of being in our hometown.
