The engagement and upcoming marriage of Meghan Elizabeth Gallatin and Joseph Michael Pratschler are being announced by the bride-elect's mother, Tracy Yeager Gallatin of Kinsman.
Parents of the groom-elect are Stacey Takash of Hartford and Kenneth Pratschler of Mercer, Pa. Father of the bride-elect is Corey Gallatin, formerly of Vernon.
Miss Gallatin graduated from Badger High School in 2010 and is a junior at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, majoring in theatre.

Mr. Pratschler is 2009 graduate of Badger High School. He is a senior at the Art Institute of Ohio in Cincinnati, where he is pursuing a bachelor of science in culinary management.
The couple will be married during a wedding ceremony to be held on Oct. 13, 2012, at the Hartford United Methodist Church. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and a reception to follow.
