The engagement and upcoming marriage of Shannon M. O'Hara and Joseph L. Seifert are being announced by the couple's parents, Joseph J. and Irene O'Hara of Youngstown and Lawrence A. and Vivian M. Seifert of Liberty.
Ms. O'Hara graduated from Chaney High School in 2004 and from Youngstown State University in 2010 with a bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy. She is employed with Falcon Transport.
Mr. Seifert is a 2004 graduate of Liberty High School and received his bachelor's degree from Youngstown State University in criminal justice in August 2009. He is employed with Horseshoe Cleveland Casino.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony on Aug. 4, 2012, at St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and an evening reception at the Mahoning Country Club.
