Angela Butch and Chad Sylvester were united in marriage during a wedding ceremony held Jan. 21, 2012, at St. Robert Bellarmine Church in Cortland. Officiating the ceremony was the Rev. Carl Kish.
A reception was held following the ceremony at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Albert Butch of Cortland. Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Alden of Southington and Mark Sylvester of Conneaut Lake, Pa.

Mackenzie Sylvester attended the bride as matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Rachael Karasiewicz, Donna Dockery, Michelle Furhman, Lisa Stempak and Courtney Grubich. The flower girl was Maddison Sylvester.
Stephen Sylvester attended his brother as best man. Groomsmen included Derik McIntosh, Anthony Butch, Phillip Butch, Heath Davis and Nate Olsen.
The new Mrs. Sylvester is a 2006 graduate of Lakeview High School and a 2010 graduate of Kent State University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in business administration. She is employed as an administrative assistant / project manager at Powder River Development Services in Sharpsville, Pa.
Mr. Sylvester is a 2001 graduate of Chalker High School and studied civil engineering at Youngstown State University. He is employed as a project manager at Horizon Construction Group in Sandy Lake, Pa.
Following a honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Howland.
