CREATURES OF THE NIGHT ARRIVE IN BRISTOL: The Bristol Public Library will host the Birds in Flight Sanctuary as part of its summer reading program at 5 p.m. Monday at the old firehouse banquet center, across from the library. The program is open to all ages. Children need to attend with a parent or guardian. Heather Merritt, a state and federal licensed rehabilitator, will be on hand with creatures of the night she has rescued. Merritt has run the sanctuary, which is funded solely on donations, for 19 years.
