LIBERTY - Leslie Dawn Gardner, 49, died Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her residence following a heart attack.
Leslie was born Oct. 8, 1962, in Youngstown, the daughter of Ronald L. and Margaret Coberley Burkett.
She had worked as a substitute teacher for special needs children.

Besides her father of Tampa, Fla., she is survived by two children, Sara Ciccarelli of Boardman and Kaleb Gardner of Liberty; a sister, Susan Giacomo of Tampa; a brother, Lennel Anderson of Arlington, Texas; and a grandson.
Memorial services will be held at 7 p.m. today at the Blackstone Funeral Home in Girard, where the family will receive relatives and friends one hour prior to the service.
