HMHP OFFERING PAIN SEMINAR: Humility of Mary Health Partners is offering a free joint pain seminar for adults who suffer from sore or stiff knees and hips and are interested in learning more about surgical and non-surgical joint pain treatment options.

The seminar will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, in the Azalea Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center, 8401 Market St., Boardman. Drs. Jim and Tom Boniface, local orthopedic surgeons, will address arthritis of the hip and knee, surgical and non-surgical joint pain treatment options, new technologies in hip and knee replacement.

SENIORS LUNCHEON HOSTS MOBILE MEALS: St. Joseph Hospital Seniors Luncheon is 2:30 p.m. June 12, 667 Eastland Ave. S.E., Warren.

Sandy Mathews of Trumbull County Mobile Meals will explain how you may qualify for meals to be delivered to your home and any other questions concerning the program.

OSTOMY CLUB TO MEET: Pharmacists from Humility of Mary Health Partners will discuss how ostomies affect the absorption of medications during the June meeting of the Youngstown Area Ostomy Support Group. Sponsored by Humility of Mary Health Partners, the group will meet from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. June 12 in the Cedar Room at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.

FARMERS MARKETS PLANNED: Farmers markets will be held through October at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Belmont Avenue, Youngstown, and St. Joseph Minor Emergency on Tod Avenue in Warren.

The Lake-to-River Food Cooperative is partnering with HMHP on bringing fresh produce to its employees and nearby neighbors. Farmers who produce locally grown, sustainable produce will be featured at each of the markets, which are scheduled May through October.

St. Joe's Minor Emergency event will be 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the facility's main lobby.

Future farmers markets at St. Elizabeth will be held 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of the month from June to October.

Future events for St. Joseph Minor Emergency are scheduled for the first Wednesday of the month (except for holidays) from July through October.

SENIOR CENTER HOLDS HEALTH FAIR: The Farmington Senior Center Inc., 150 College St., West Farmington, will hold a health fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday. There will be 25 vendors, giving out information and hand-outs, and door prizes will be given. Lunch will be available. For more information, call Starr at 330-889-2733.

NILES HOLDS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC: An immunization clinic will be offered from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday and June 20, at the Niles Health Department, 34 W. THE WELL-CHILD IMMUNIZATION CLINIC SET:?A well-child immunization clinic will be held at 11:30 a.m. June 13 in the Girard Health Department, located in the City Building. A $10 administration fee will be charged. Dr. James J. Enyeart, medical director, conducts the examinations. Parents are to bring a copy of the child's immunization record, and a parent or guardian must accompany children younger than 18 years old. To preregister your child, call the Health Department from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at 330-545-6048.

FLU CLINIC TO BE HELD: A flu clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 to 4 p.m. daily at Warren West Community Health Center, 716 Tod Ave., Warren. Medicaid and Medicare will be accepted. All others are $20 each. Walk-ins are welcome. For more information, call 330-373-0222.

IMMUNIZATION CLINICS OFFERED: Warren City Health Department is offering a children's immunization clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. June 18, at the Warren City Health Department, 418 Main Ave. S.W., Warren.

There is a $10 administration fee or Medicaid is accepted. No appointment is necessary. A parent must accompany the child and have the child's current shot record. For more information, call 330-841-2596.

THE INSIGHT GROUP: 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Support group that serves patients who have had a brain injury and their families. The June meeting will be held at the outdoor pavilion at Hillside Rehabilitation Center. All who attend are asked to bring a side dish or dessert; HRH will provide the meat and the drinks. ONE DAY CHILDBIRTH CLASS: 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. June 9. Designed to accommodate parents whose busy schedules may make it difficult to attend the two-week course. The cost of the class is $50. Medicaid, Caresource or Unison, can be billed directly for registration fees. Those attending should bring insurance cards to the class. THE MAHONING VALLEY SPINAL CORD INJURY SUPPORT GROUP: 5 to 7 p.m. June 11, in the Occupational Therapy Department at Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital. All spinal cord injury patients and their family and friends are welcome. The goals of the group are to assist disabled people in finding programs and agencies that can assist them and provide social activities for all who attend. BREASTFEEDING CLASS: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 12. This class provides parents with up-to-date information to help them make the best, informed choice when it comes to breastfeeding a new baby. "NUTRITION DURING TREATMENT": 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. June 13. The American Cancer Society is sponsoring "Nutrition During Treatment," a dietary program for all those in active cancer treatment. This program will be facilitated by Linda Stickelmyer, manager, Center for Breast Health; Debora Gilbert, dietician; and Steve Surack, chef from Northside Medical Center's nutritional services.
