YOUNGSTOWN - Two men were found shot to death overnight on Youngstown's East Side, victims of what might be a hate crime.
The shootings happened around 3 a.m. at the Victory Annex Complex. Police found Ibn Shakoor, 20, of 671 McBride Street and Michael Johnson, 20, of 716 Katherine Street dead inside a Chevrolet Tahoe parked in a lot outside the McBride Street address.
Police said at least a dozen shell casings were scattered on the ground.
Investigators are speculating the motive may have been a hate crime. The victims did not appear to be involved any criminal activity which led to their murders.
