CHAMPION - Frank E. Vondrasek, 66, died Friday, May 18, 2012, at White Oak Manor in Warren.
A lifelong area resident, Frank was born May 6, 1946, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Ruth Vondrasek.
His wife, Marie Wildman Vondrasek died in 2001.
Frank served in the U.S. Army as a tank mechanic and later was an auto mechanic working for several local car dealerships.
He enjoyed woodworking, crafts and going camping and fishing.
Frank leaves behind two sons, Don of Southington and Frank of Mecca; a daughter, Nellie of Champion; two sisters, Marion of Mecca and June of Champion; a brother, Donnie of Champion; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.
Inurnment will take place in Crown Hill Burial Park.
