The engagement and upcoming marriage of Stefanie Myers and Adam Gowin are being announced by the bride-elect's parents, Daniel G. and Monika Myers of Hilton Head, S.C., formerly of Cortland. Parents of the groom-elect are Brad and Deborah Gowin of Huntsville, Ala.
Miss Myers is a graduate of Lakeview High School and of the Ohio State University with a bachelor's degree in industrial and systems engineering. She is employed by Boeing as an engineer and is working on a NASA contract in Huntsville, Ala.
Mr. Gowin is attending the University of Alabama Huntsville for mechanical and aeronautical engineering. He is employed as a flight engineer co-op at the Huntsville International Airport.
