Mr. and Mrs. Roy Cunningham Jr. of Warren were honored during a surprise 50th anniversary celebration held at Enzo's Banquet Room on May 19, 2012.
The event was hosted by the couple's three children and eight grandchildren. They also have four great-grandchildren.
Roy Cunningham Jr. and the former Carol Rockwell were married May 24, 1962, in Oakland, Md.

Mr. Cunningham retired in 2004 from General Motors, Lordstown, after 34 years of service. Mrs. Cunningham was employed by Drugs Plus and retired in 1997 when it closed.
They are also active members of First United Methodist Church of Warren.
The couple enjoy spending much of their free time with their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
