HARRISON, Ga. - Eileen Novotny Neal, 87, formerly of Newton Falls, died Tuesday, May 22, 2012, at the Wrightsville Manor Nursing Home following an extended illness.
Mrs. Neal was a native of Newton Falls, the daughter of the late Andrew Novotny and the late Anna Gavolic Novotny.
She was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Warren before retiring to Florida and then moving to Georgia to be near family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Ray Neal, and a son, Ronald Neal.
Survivors include a daughter, Dianne N. (Ron) Gettig of Harrison; five grandchildren, Brian Gettig of West Palm Beach, Fla., Lisa G. Lytle of Del Ray Beach, Fla., and Heather Neal, Jerry Neal and Bobby Neal, all of Newton Falls; a brother, William Novotny of Newton Falls; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A graveside memorial committal service will be held at a later date in Newton Falls.
