CANFIELD - David S. Leitheiser, 54, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2012, in Youngstown following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 16, 1957, in Youngstown, the son of Walter and Viola Hinely Leitheiser.
David was employed as a nursery manager with J&J Gardens in Youngstown and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his companion, Cheri Miller of Canfield; a son, Jeffery A. Leitheiser of Manhatten, Kan.; a daughter, Diana R. Diorio of Butler, Pa.; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a stepfather, Ken Oswald; and two sisters.
Private family services will be held in Butler.
Arrangements are being handled by the Staton-Borowski Funeral Home, Warren.
