Mr. and Mrs. Gerald R. Donohoe of Warren will celebrate their 50th anniversary Saturday, May 19, 2012, with family and close friends at a luncheon at Leo's Ristorante in Howland.
Mr. Donohoe and the former Alice M. Clark were married May 19, 1962.
Before moving to Warren in 1966, Jerry worked for the Pennsylvania National Guard for 13 years. He set up and operated the Wean Engineering Library on North Park Avenue in Warren and worked for Wean until 1984. He is currently employed by Stens and Assoc. Inc. Realtors in Howland in the sales department.

Jerry received a degree in marketing and real estate from Youngstown State University in 1989. He is the vice president of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Sean MacBride Division of Trumbull, and a member of the Rotary Club of Warren. He is also a driver and board member for Trumbull Mobile Meals.
Alice was employed by Thorefore Markets in the Pittsburgh area for 14 years and worked for the Kroger Co. from 1967 until the company closed in 1977 in the Youngstown / Warren area. She also worked for Cicero's Market for 14 years, was a tutor at Washington and Jefferson elementary schools in her spare time and was employed by Giant Eagle in Howland from 1994 to 2001, when she retired.
Alice earned a degree in accounting from Trumbull Business College in 1993 and is a member of Tau Beta Chi. She was a member, horticulturalist and officer for the Weeds to Roses Garden Club (in 1967) and the Trumbull County Garden Forum (1980-82).
The couple are members of St. James Church, Warren, where Alice is a choir member and sings with the "Messiah" chorus.
They have sailed and raced small boats at Berlin Yacht Club, Berlin, since 1972, and they bowled with the Wean Couples League.
Alice enjoys gardening and canning her harvest and sharing her crops with friends.
