COLUMBUS (AP) - Mitt Romney's campaign has announced that the presumptive Republican presidential nominee will campaign in swing state Ohio accompanied by Gov. John Kasich.
Romney plans a roundtable with graduating seniors at Otterbein University in Westerville in suburban Columbus Friday afternoon, followed by a guest lecture.
Romney will be accompanied by Kasich, who recently endorsed Romney and who also calls the suburb of Westerville home.
Obama and first lady Michelle Obama plan a campaign stop in Columbus May 5 at Ohio State University.
No Republican has ever won the White House without taking Ohio and only two Democrats have done so in more than a century.
