RAVENNA - George C. Vaughan, 41, died Sunday, April 22, 2012. A cause of death is pending.
He was born Dec. 16, 1970, in Youngstown, the son of George H. and Dorothy W. Reed Vaughan.
George was employed as an assembler and tow motor operator for General Motors Corp., Lordstown.
Survivors include his wife, Joi Reckner Stephenson; a daughter, Alexandria; two stepsons, Heath and Craig Stephenson; three stepdaughters, Kassidy Stephenson-Ingram, Roni Jo Stephenson and Mackenzie Stephenson; a sister, Andrea Deafenbaugh; and five stepgrandchildren.
A funeral service will be held noon Friday at Shorts-Spicer-Crislip Funeral Homes Ravenna Chapel. Calling hours will be from 1:30 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and an hour prior to services, all at the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Ravenna.
