Hubbard Scout, Tracy ''TJ'' Rusk III, of Brookfield, and Hubbard Troop 100, was awarded the The Wapashuwi Lodge 2011 Waldorf Award and the 2011 Youth Arrowman of the Year Award at the Wapashuwi Lodge, Order of the Arrow annual winter banquet of the Greater Western Reserve Council, Boy Scouts of America.
The banquet was held last month at Middlefield United Methodist Church in Middlefield.
Founded in 1915, the Order of the Arrow is Scouting's National Honor Society with a focus on leadership development, membership extension, adventurous programming and broader service to Scouting and the community.

For over 90 years, their peers have honored scouts who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives with membership in the Order of the Arrow. The OA has more than 180,000 members located in lodges affiliated with 310 local BSA Councils.
TJ also is a Brotherhood member and is currently the Vice-Chief of Native American Heritage.
The featured speaker of the evening was Jason Wolf, the new Council Scout Executive and Chief of the Fire for the lodge. Wolf gave an inspiration talk to the audience including his involvement as a Boy Scout, an Eagle Scout and a Lodge Chief as a youth and later in professional scouting.
The Wapashuwi Lodge had achieved Quality Lodge status for 2011 for the third time in its 17-year history.
