EVENT TO REMEMBER HOLOCAUST: The annual community Holocaust commemoration will be held at noon Thursday in the rotunda of the Mahoning County Courthouse in Youngstown. The event will include recognition of winners of the student Holocaust writing contest, a mayor's proclamation presentation and a memorial candlelighting ceremony in honor of the 6 million people who perished.

CHURCH TO HOST 5K RACE: Liberty Assembly of God will hold the second annual Compassion 5K Race and one-mile fun run and walk Saturday at the Wellness Center in Waddell Park in Niles.
