SHARON, Pa. - Mary Lou Ayers, 88, died at 11:08 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown.
She was born July 2, 1923, in Sharon, the daughter of Carl N. and Isabelle A. Kahl Wiesen.
Mary Lou retired from the former General American Transportation Corp. in Masury and was a member of St. Joseph Church, Sharon.
Survivors include three sisters, Elizabeth A. "Betty" Morgenstern of Warren, Alice R. Monson of Hurst, Texas, and Dorothy M. O'Hara of Southington; and a brother, Raymond A. Wiesen of Dayton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John C. "Jack" Ayers; and five brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Church in Sharon. The family will receive friends one hour before the Mass in the gathering room at the church.
Entombment will be in St. Rose Cemetery Mausoleum, Hermitage.
Arrangements are being handled by J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home in Sharon.
