EASTER BUNNY TO ARRIVE AT EVENT: The Easter Bunny will visit with children from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Lordstown administration building, Salt Springs Road, as the Lordstown Lions and Leos host a gathering.

EASTER BUNNY TO VISIT CHILDREN: The Easter Bunny at 1 p.m. today will visit the Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley, where children staying at the mission will be surprised with Easter baskets.

INSPIRING MINDS PLANS GALA: Inspiring Minds will hold its sixth annual scholarships gala to be awarded to Warren students. The event, ''Inspired Tastes World Dining Tour,'' will be held at 6 p.m. April 27 at St. Demitrios Community Center, 3223 Atlantic St. N.E., Warren. The gala celebrates the achievements of students who participate in the Inspiring Minds after-school educational, community service and athletic programs.

In addition to the presentation of scholarships, a Community Achievement Award will be presented to an individual who has provided support for students over the past year.

Tickets are $35 each or $60 for two. Children's tickets are available at $25 each. Tickets can be purchased by calling 330-469-6729 or 330-219-7870.

SUPPORT GROUP TO HEAR FROM SPEAKER: Anyone who has been afflicted with any type of cancer can attend a cancer support group meeting and seminar at 7 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Bible Church, 2878 Warren Meadville Road, Bazetta. Anna Marie Holt, a registered nurse with the Hope Center for Cancer Care, will be speaking.

EXCHANGE PROGRAM SEEKS FAMILIES: Homes are being sought for Christian students from Germany, France and Norway who would like to visit for the 2012-13 school year and are waiting for a match with a volunteer host family.

The educational exchange program is sponsored and supervised by Educational Merit Foundation. Host families, with or without children, are needed to provide food, a bed and a home for the one or two semesters starting in late August. For more information, call 800-467-8363 or visit www.emfusa.org.
