DEAR EDITOR:
I wonder if anyone could tell me what's wrong with this country. Almost every time I go out to a town I see these poor folks with cardboard signs around their necks begging for food. I know the few dollars we give them is not much, but I'm sure it helps.
I cannot imagine how embarrassing that would be to have to beg for something to eat. And then I read where the big shots in Washington are going to give our Social Security to these illegal aliens that have never contributed anything to this country.
What's wrong with the people who are running this country? I wonder how they would like to walk the streets carrying a sign and begging for something to eat. I just think it's awful.
I don't think they care about the American people.
