PARK VISTA HOSTS HEALTHY SERIES: As part of its Life Long Learning Institute, Park Vista Retirement Community will present a four-part series on nutrition and healthy lifestyles.
The series, titled "Better Nutrition Learning Intensive," is being held in the East Therapy Gym. Each 90-minute program will feature a presentation by Park Vista's registered dietician Agapi Mantos followed by a healthy recipe demonstration by executive chef Mark Bittler.

HOWLAND SCHOOLS RETIREES TO MEET: Howland Schools Retirees will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Enzo's Restaurant on Elm Road, Warren. Cost of the lunch, payable at the door, is $10 with a choice from three to four entrees offered.
Retirees who do not receive a newsletter and response card are asked to call Mary at 330-856-5226 by the Saturday prior to the meeting so the restaurant can be given a close estimate of the expected attendance. All retirees, classified and non-classified, spouses and guests are welcome to attend the monthly lunch meetings for a meeting, food and time of fellowship.
The group meets every month year round and is only canceled if Howland schools are canceled because of inclement weather. The collection of non-perishable food, paper goods and hygiene items brought to the meeting will be delivered to Beatitude House.
