HOWLAND 54, FITCH 38: AUSTINTOWN - Erika Nites had nine of her game-high 21 points in the first quarter to help Howland jump out to a 16-2 lead. Taylor Williams put in 15 points for the Tigers (16-1, 8-0), who will play Struthers on Saturday for the All-American Conference American Division title. Anissa Hill led the Falcons (10-7, 3-5) with 17 points and Megan Sefcik chipped in 13.
McDONALD 52, SOUTHERN 38: McDONALD - Taylor Stanley led all players with 24 points as McDonald beat Southern. The Blue Devils (10-9, 8-6) led only 21-17 at halftime, then pulled away in the final two quarters. Paige Eckman added 13 points and Alyssa Streb pulled down 12 rebounds for McDonald. Kati Mipsley led Southern with 10 points.
MAPLEWOOD 54, BRISTOL 34: MECCA - Brooke Dawson had 21 points and seven rebounds to lead Maplewood over Bristol. Miranda Sloan added 14 points and eight assists for the Rockets (17-2, 10-2). Allyson Jones paces the Panthers (9-9) with 15 points and 11 rebounds.
YOUNGSTOWN CHRISTIAN 37, MATHEWS 35: VIENNA - Mathews trailed 22-10 at halftime but the Mustangs' rally fell just short. Maddie Williams scored all eight of her points in the fourth quarter to lead the comeback for Mathews (3-16). Anna Nobbs put in seven points. Toi Brown led Youngstown Christian with 18 points and Cashia Moyer pulled down 11 rebounds.
STRUTHERS 62, NILES 22: NILES - Struthers led 32-6 at halftime and cruised to the win. Ashley Hefferon led four players in double-digit scoring with 16 for the Wildcats. Ashley Kane had 13 and Ashleigh Ryan and McKenna Shives each put in 10. Katrina Harris led the Red Dragons with eight points and Megan Morris scored seven.
BADGER 48, HEARTLAND CHRISTIAN 25: COLUMBIANA - Sarah Bonar scored 14 of her game-high 26 points in the first quarter to help Badger get the win. The Braves (7-11) led 41-12 through three quarters and cruised in the fourth. Izabella Armstrong added nine points and 10 rebounds for Badger. Alisha Schwartz led Heartland with seven points.
CHAMPION 70, LaBRAE 52: CHAMPION - Mackenzie Kiser had 14 points and 14 rebounds and Lindsay Swipas added 15 points and 11 boards to lead Champion. Gabby Lamont scored a season-high 17 points and Emma Nicholas put in 14 for the Golden Flashes (11-8, 7-2), who led 38-22 at halftime. Ashlee Stubbs paced the Vikings (7-11, 2-7) with 24 points and Demari Brown added 10.
NEWTON FALLS 85, CAMPBELL 24: NEWTON FALLS - Brooke Barreca matched Campbell's entire output with 24 points as the Tigers crushed the Red Devils. Newton Falls (13-6, 7-2) led 43-16 at halftime, then extended their advantage to 72-24 through three quarters. Rachel Ellis chipped in 14 points for the Tigers. Brittany Williams led Campbell with 10 points.
JEFFERSON 59, LIBERTY 17: JEFFERSON - Liberty was without the injured Vakeyla Merriweather and it was no contest as Jefferson routed the Leopards. Paige Clark led the Falcons (8-9, 4-5) with 16 points. Rachel Moyer scored 14 and Rachel Francis put in 11. Shamara Golden and Rachel Crum each had five points to lead Liberty (5-13, 2-8).
BEAVER LOCAL 61, HUBBARD 44: LISBON - Hubbard fell behind 30-14 at halftime and could never get in the game. Amanda Irwin led the Eagles with 11 points and Kaitlyn Evans and Caitlyn O'Hara each added seven. Tenelle Hoppel paced Beaver Local with 17 points and Allie Bangor put in 15.
CANFIELD 44, POLAND 37: CANFIELD - Sabrina Mangapora had a game-high 21 points to lead Canfield. The Cardinals (11-6, 6-3) led 32-30 through three quarters, then pulled away in the fourth. Rachel Tinkey added 10 points for Canfield. Maura Bobby led the Bulldogs (9-8, 4-6) with 18 points.
WESTERN RESERVE 56, JACKSON-MILTON 46: BERLIN CENTER - Colleen Kennehan led three Blue Devils in double figures with 17 points as they beat the Blue Jays in an Inter-Tri County League Lower Tier game. Sissy Stubbs added 11 points and Hannah Mowery had 10 for Western Reserve (15-3, 9-2). Paije Kiraly led Jackson-Milton (12-7, 9-5) with 11 points, Katherine Santor and Erica Hughes each had nine and Maggie Oblinger had eight. The Blue Jays will finish their regular season Monday on the road against Lisbon.
