CANFIELD - Police spent most of the morning at a Carriage Hill apartment complex after a woman was shot to death there early today.
Police still have not released the woman's name, but they have issued a bulletin for police to be on the lookout for 62-year-old Robert McLaughlin, who was convicted of stalking a woman in 2010 and obscenity charges involving the woman in 2011.
Today's victim was shot several times as she sat in a car just after 7 a.m. Village police and technicians from the state Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation spent more than four hours on the scene collecting evidence.
