Help for the holidays

Laura Wimer of Girl Scout Troop 598 in Howland helps unload boxes of pasta and other non-perishable food Sunday that Scouts collected for the Scope Center in Warren. The center will put together baskets for senior shut-ins this holiday season. A total of 2,353 items were collected by the Scouts, who brought them to a vacant storefront.
