DR. KOPEY IS ABEM DIPLOMATE: Humility of Mary Health Partners has announced that Dr. Stephanie Kopey has recently achieved board certification in electrodiagnostic medicine from the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and is now an ABEM diplomate.
In order to become board certified, Kopey obtained specific training and passed a comprehensive written and oral examination to demonstrate competency in electrodiagnostic evaluation of disorders of the neuromuscular system.
An Austintown native, Kopey maintains an office at the Wexford Center, 1950 Niles-Cortland Road, Warren. She is also board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Kopey completed medical school at Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, her internship at St. Joseph Health Center and received specialty training in physiatry from the Case Western Reserve University / Metrohealth Rehabilitation Institute of Ohio.
She is a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine, and as a diplomate of the ABEM, is granted fellow status with AANEM, the international association dedicated to advancing neuromuscular, musculoskeletal and electrodiagnostic medicine.
