The engagement and upcoming marriage of Melissa Ann Laufman and Gregory Alan Kenyon Jr. are being announced by the couple's parents, Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Laufman of Canfield and Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Kenyon Sr. of Girard.
The bride-elect earned a bachelor's degree in communications and a bachelor's degree in early childhood education from Youngstown State University.
Mr. Kenyon graduated from the Pittsburgh Culinary Institute of America. He is employed by Kraftmaid Cabinetry in Orwell.

The couple will be united in marriage during a wedding ceremony to take place July 9, 2011, at St. Mark Lutheran Church in Boardman. Invitations will be issued for the wedding and a reception to follow at the Lake Club in Poland.
