Ervin and Kathryn Bell
Kathryn worked at the Ravenna Arsenal during World War II war but spent most of her married life as a housewife. The family says she was famous for her wonderful baked goods, enjoyed crocheting, sewing and visiting with her family members.
They have been members of First Baptist Church in Braceville since 1946, where both served as deacon and deaconess and in other capacities.
The couple have four children, Edwina (Christopher) Bell Whitehead, the late Ervin (Rose Anderson) Bell Jr., the late William D. (Dorothy Bethea) Bell Sr. and Margaret Bell Hightower. They also have eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandson.
They will be the honored guests at a cookout on Memorial Day weekend at the home of their daughter, Edwina.
