Mr. and Mrs. George Reese celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct. 8, 2010, with a blessing at Mass by the Rev. James Walker at SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church in Warren. A dinner followed the Mass at Alberini's Restaurant in Niles, hosted by their children.
George and the former Callista O'Connell were married Oct. 8, 1960, at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Vienna. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. John Roach.
They have lived in Trumbull County their entire lives and are members of SS. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church.

The couple have two children, David (Jean) Reese and Beth (Tom) Beebe. They also have one grandson and three stepgrandchildren.
George retired as a supervisor at Delphi Packard Electric and Callista retired from the Trumbull County Family Court.
They enjoy traveling and spending time with their children.
This summer they will continue the celebration of their marriage with a vacation provided by their children.
