Vienna Township residents interested in helping to plan and schedule events for a VIENNA HOME DAY to be held this summer in the community can attend planning meetings at 7 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. on Saturday at the township hall.
HOWLAND HEALTH AND WELLNESS COMMITTEE will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the township administration building. There will be a program on health and vitality and a discussion on the construction of a bike trail on North Road.
The McDONALD COMMUNITY CHEST is changing its meeting time and place starting this month. The organization will meet at 7 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month in the McDonald Community Room, 500 Ohio Ave., McDonald. The board meets every month except for June, July and August.
Bishop George V. Murry of the Diocese of Youngstown is the GUEST SPEAKER at the First Friday Club event at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 3 at Antone's Banquet Centre in Boardman. Murry will speak on "The Diocese of Youngstown 2011." The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. and concludes at 1 p.m. The cost to attend is $15.
