Warren -- Police have arrested three people in connection with the severe beating of a Warren boy who remains in critical condition after being struck in the head with a baseball bat.
The victim, 15-year-old Verdarell Lowery, remains in Akron Children's Hospital. His mother, Kim Lowery, complained Monday that law enforcement was too slow in finding Verdarell's assailants.
More information on the three suspects that police took into custody is forthcoming.
