The local Home Instead Senior Care Office is offering information to help family members work with their aging family members to sort, organize and dispose of things they no longer want or need.
As spring cleaning gets under way, local experts are encouraging families to help their elder family members clear the clutter from their homes - eliminating potential health and safety hazards. The local office is also partnering with the Trumbull County Sheriff's Office and its Senior Service Unit, the Boardman Police Department and the Austintown Police Department to sponsor a Mission Medicine Event.
The event will take place 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the following locations: Grace Fellowship Church, 2150 Niles Cortland Road, Warren, Boardman Township Administration Building, 8299 Market St., Boardman; and Austintown Police Department, 92 Ohlman Road, Austintown.

The TRUMBULL COUNTY NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR THE ELDERLY is provided by the Trumbull County Office of Elderly Affairs and operates nutrition sites at 10 locations throughout Trumbull County. These sites provide a meal and the opportunity for socialization. There is a $1.25 charge for each meal.
