YOUNGSTOWN -- Forum Health plans to cut as many as 125 jobs across its system over the next few months, the health care organization said this afternoon.
Impacted workers will be informed individually, starting immediately, according to a news release.
Reductions, which will be made over the next few months, primarily will be made in non-patient care, management and health system positions to minimize impact on patients, according to the statement.
The reductions will be done through attrition, job restructuring and layoffs.
Forum is trying to reorganize in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, but the cutbacks are not related to the bankruptcy, according to the statement.
