WARREN - A couple of television stars from the '70s will be part of 2010-11 Trumbull Town Hall season at Packard Music Hall.
The lineup was announced Wednesday by program chair Ginnie Baran before a presentation by troubadour Bill Schustik.
The season will open Sept. 29 with Jamie Farr, who is best known for his role as Cpl. Maxwell Q. Klinger on the long-running CBS television series ''M*A*S*H.'' The Toledo native made his film debut as a teenager in ''The Blackboard Jungle'' and also appeared in such films as ''Cannonball Run'' and ''Scrooged.''
He will be followed by another sitcom veteran on Nov. 10 when Cloris Leachman speaks. She was a regular on ''The Mary Tyler Moore Show'' until her character became the star of the spin-off series ''Phyllis.'' Her film credits include ''Young Frankenstein'' and ''The Last Picture Show,'' for which she won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. More recently she competed on season seven of ''Dancing with the Stars.''
The program on March 2, 2011, will feature National Public Radio correspondent Tom Gjelten. He is the husband of ABC journalist Martha Raddatz, who gave a Trumbull Town Hall lecture in 2009.
The season ends on April 13, 2011, with Damaris Peters Pike, a professor emeritus at Hiram College who specializes in dramatizing the lives of famous women in music. Her program will focus on Dolores Hope, wife of entertainer Bob Hope.
''We the committee think we've found the pot of gold and the end of the rainbow, and we invite you to join the excitement,'' Baran told the audience.
