EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. - William M. Culp died Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, after an extended illness.
He was born in Sharon, Pa., a son of Fred Sr. and Esther Austin Culp.
He worked for the Carling Black Label Brewing Co. and attended Riverview Church of God in St. Louis and Community of Christ Church in East St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife, Antoinette; sons, Gary M. and Leslie, both of Akron; daughter, Judith of Columbus; stepdaughters, Lisa Walker and Marie Davis, both of East St. Louis; brothers, Fred Jr., the Rev. Dr. Robert and Bernard ''Pete,'' all of Toledo; sisters, Jeraldine Dunnavant of Farrell, Pa. and La Verne Porter of Hermitage, Pa.; two grandsons; four stepgrandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding him in death were a brother, two sisters and a son, Richard.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at Greater Mt. Zion COGIC in Farrell, Pa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Sharon, Pa.
