Tony D. Wells 1943-2009December 17, 2009WARREN - Tony D. Wells, 65, of Warren, died at 12:36 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center from complications from a stroke. He was born Dec. 29, 1943, in Seville, Fla., a son of Clyde and Mariam Emily Waters Wells. He came to Warren in 1966. Tony retired from the General Motors Corp. Lordstown assembly plant, where he had been an assembler for 28 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose, Trumbull Lodge 186. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf and gardening. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during Vietnam. Survivors include his life partner, Evone Crosby Wells; a son, Ron (Diane) Wells of Lake Orion, Mich.; a daughter, Cindy (Rick) Radich of Cortland; four grandchildren, Adam Wells, and Sam, Michaella and Jordan Radich; two brothers, Ronnie Wells of Lordstown and Mike Wells of Seville, Fla.; and a sister, Elaine (Brian) Cunningham of Port Orange, Fla. His parents and two brothers, Kline and Tommy Wells, preceded him in death. Calling hours will be 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Peter Rossi & Son Memorial Chapel. Burial will be at Seville Cemetery in Seville, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Humility of Mary-Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44512. (special notice) |
