WARREN - Bernice A. Slusher, 88, of Bloomfield, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2009, at Community Skilled Healthcare in Warren.
She was born Sept. 29, 1921, in Greene.
Bernice is survived by her son, Donald (Dorothy) Slusher of Bristolville; grandchildren, Bryan, Carman Slusher, Denise Rang, Todd Bowers, Marcia St. John, Diane Schlosser; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Mabel Beckwith; her husband, Richard Slusher; daughter, Sandra Relhard Bowers; an infant son, Ronald; brothers Kenneth, Francis and Bernard Beckwith; and sisters, Helen Heilman, Gladys Slusher and Marjorie Lewis.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Paine-Guerriero Funeral Home, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, with the Rev. George Whitt and the Rev. Leroy Dodrill officiating.
Interment will follow at Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. prior to the service.
