SHARON, Pa. - Elizabeth ''Betty'' Petro, 90, Orchard Street, died at 12:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at home.
She was born Nov. 26, 1919, in Smock, Pa., a daughter of Joseph and Mary Kiluk Dresel.
A homemaker, she was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty L. Hardell of Tavares, Fla., and Patricia K. Parker of Cortland; two sons, Paul M. of New Castle, Pa., and Michael A. of Virginia Beach, Va.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Delores Rotell of Farrell, Pa., and Cheryl Lockovich of Marlow, Okla.; and three brothers, Walter Dresel of Tustin, Calif., Bernard Dresel of Sharon and Ronald Dreszel of Farrell.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Petro; an infant son, Edward; two sisters and a brother.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory, Sharon. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in SS. Peter and Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sharon. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Hermitage.
