November 25, 2009 - Tribune Chronicle

WARREN Delphi Corp. salaried retirees will get a chance to make their case for pension and health care support from the government at a House of Representatives hearing Dec. 2.

U.S. Rep. Tim Ryan, D-Niles, announced this afternoon that the House Education and Labor Committee will hear testimony at 10:30 a.m. in the Rayburn Building in Washington on how deep cuts in pensions and the loss of health care are impacting salaried retirees and thousands of hourly retirees.

Salaried retirees made their case in a Senate hearing Oct. 29.
