Turkey dinners for the needy
Greater St. John Church of God in Christ will hold a FREE COMMUNITY THANKSGIVING DAY DINNER from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Jesse Howard Community Center, 419 Highland Ave., Warren. The public is welcome.
The Warren Family Mission will be serving its annual THANKSGIVING FEAST from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the main building, 361 Elm Road N.E., and the men's center, 1228 W. Market St., Warren. Members of the Premier Business Builders Chapter of BNI have canceled their meeting so that its members and families may instead be volunteers at the mission. Anyone wanting to volunteer their time, food or make a monetary donation can call 330-394-5434.
Newton Falls American legion and St. Nicholas Orthodox Church will sponsor a free THANKSGIVING DINNER from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at American Legion, 2025 E. River Road.
The WARREN LIONS CLUB meets at noon on Tuesdays at the Reef, 5000 E. Market St., Warren, in the Market Place.
The Mahoning-Shenango Valley HISTORICAL CLUB will meet at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Arms Museum in Youngstown. The regular meeting is open to the public.

The Cortland Christian Church Christian Education Team is hosting its first CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL CRAFT SHOW from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
