MCDONALD - Louis J. Scirocco, 83, died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at Hospice House.

Louis was born Dec. 10, 1925, in Youngstown, the son of Giuseppe and Angeline Cervone Scirocco.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Louis retired from the Erie Lackawanna Rail Road after 30 years of service. He was a Catholic in faith.

Louis leaves three children, Robert of McDonald, Frank of Howland and Patricia Fusselman of Canfield; brother and sisters, John Scirocco, Mary Stizza and Josephine Morgan, all of Girard; seven grandchildren; and his companion, Burnice Braun.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Massuri Scirocco, five sisters and one brother.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, where family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and one-half hour prior to services Saturday.
