HUBBARD - Frances A. Carsone, 90, of Hubbard, died Tuesday evening, Nov. 17, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 8, 1919, in Hubbard, a daughter of Paul and Mary Lancione Rosile, and was a lifelong Hubbard resident.
Mrs. Carsone, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church and a past member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Happy Wanderers, was an avid YSU football tailgating fan and enjoyed playing cards with her sisters.
Her husband, Frank ''Fritz'' Carsone, whom she married May 25, 1940, died Dec. 19, 1994.
She leaves a son, Tom (Lynn) Carsone of Niles; a daughter, Rosemary (Elmer) Berstling of Hubbard; a brother, Nick (MaryLou) Rosile of Cortland; two sisters, Phil Bellino of Austintown and Marge LaCivita of Hubbard; three sisters-in-law, Alice Rosile of Slippery Rock, Pa., and Beverly Rosile and Marge Cronin, both of Hubbard; two grandsons, Carey (Kristin) Carsone of Clayton, N.C., and Marc (Jenny) Carsone of Mineral Ridge; and a great-granddaughter, Ali Carsone of Liberty.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Philip and Angelo Rosile.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Frances's nurse, Pam, and also to Erin, Angela, Nancy and Taunya.
