2 p.m.: Cruze to debut Dec. 2
LORDSTOWN -- The Lordstown-built Chevrolet Cruze upscale small car is scheduled to make its U.S. public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on Dec. 2, Chevrolet announced today.
The division of General Motors Corp. said the Cruze, which is already being sold in Europe and Asia, is designed to have more interior and cargo room than its Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla rivals, while getting as many as 40 miles per gallon.
Lordstown is scheduled to start building the car in early August.

What was it you were saying about ignorance and stupidity Turi? "millions of Lordstown build cars" "like i've sayed before..." For Christ's sake Turi, learn to either to proof read what you post or copy and paste it off and use spell check. And by the way, the cars that Lordstown have produced as far back as the Vega have been crap and I am far from the only person with that view. By the way, how is that Anal fixation problem coming along? Oh, and have you been conducting more "how to make sh*t up about people you disagree with and lie like a little weasel" sessions with your kids? With your track record of out and out lies and weird Anal fixation problems, you have no business posting here.

I. like Drone, would urge extreme caution here. As he rightly points out, all of the the Cruze's predecessors were rolled out with great fan fare as being the "car that will send the Japanese back across the Pacific". None did. In fact, most were so bad, by they time they arrived they were only considered by die hard GM employees because of the discounts and most non-GM people knew better, and bought other cars ( Corolla, Civic etc.) This car will have to earn it's own chops. We shall see. Sorry GM, but you have lied to the public, time and time again, and just like the fairy tale, no body, and I mean no body now believes your call of "wolf" anymore. You will have to prove yourself beyond a shadow of a doubt that this new Cruze is above and beyond anything else out there. I wish you good luck.

It's simply the next GM small car being assembled at Lordstown. There's no reason to think it will do any better, or worse, than it's predecessors did. I'm shavin' my goatee...Trib's been pulling my posts ever since I grew it. (-:
