WARREN - Janice Marie Baker, 66, Warren, passed away at 11:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Imperial Skilled Nursing Home.

She was born June 29, 1943, in Queens, W.Va., the daughter of the late Boyd and Pauline Sayre Stevens.

A lifetime area resident, Janice was a Warren G. Harding High School graduate. She enjoyed making crafts, baking and cooking. She had a love for music and played the drums. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her three children, Christine (Michael) Smith of Cortland, Tracey (fiance Chuck) Boyce of Niles and William Baker of Niles; siblings, Darlene (Rex) Brammer of Warren, Lester (Linda) Stevens of Champion, Patricia (James) Burgress of Warren and Holly (Heidi) Stevens of Warren; and eight grandchildren, Michael, Justin, Jessica, Nikki, William, Jonathan, Alexis and Gianna.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Richard Fout; and a sister, Carolyn Adams.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Joel Dickson officiating. The family will be receiving friends an hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Bristolville.
