The Trumbull County Republican Party will hold its monthly BREAKFAST at 9 a.m. Saturday at the banquet room at the Mocha House, 467 High St., Warren. Guest speaker is Dr. Charles H. The Youngstown Model Railroad Association will hold a MODEL TRAIN OPEN HOUSE from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the corner of Raccoon Road and Four Miles Road, Austintown. Refreshments will be available. Cost is $3 per person with children 12 and younger free.
Hoyt Street Flourishing Ministries Church of God in Christ, 789 Hoyt St., Warren, will hold a BAKE SALE from 3 to 6 p.m. Saturday. There will be various food items.
The CANFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY will host a lecture, "Gift of a Garden" by Lynn Zocolo of Fellows Riverside Gardens. Zocolo will discuss the donation made by Elizabeth Fellows and the history of Fellows Riverside Gardens. The lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m. today at the historic Bond House, 44 W. Drs. Karlock, Flauto, Arters and Reichard of Austintown Podiatry Association are announcing the annual SHOE DRIVE for the needy through Christmas. Gently worn or new shoes can be dropped off at any of the three office locations: Canfield-Niles Road in Austintown, South Avenue in Boardman or Elm Road in Warren.
Bolindale Christian Church, 2749 Fairview S.E., Warren, will hold a TURKEY DINNER from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday. Adult price is $7, children $3, and kids younger than 5 eat for free. Take-out orders are available.
McKinley Community Church Ladies Aid will take orders Saturday at Howland Community Church for frozen fruit pies and unbaked pie shells to make pumpkin pies on Thanksgiving. Orders can be picked up on Nov. 21 at the church. For more information, call 330-856-2999.
