Mission to hold Thanksgiving Tour
The Seeing EyeThe Warren Family Mission will hold its annual THANKSGIVING TOUR from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday to show the public how their gifts have helped others. There will be tours of the executive offices, 361 Elm Road N.E.; family center, 491 Porter St.; women's center, 3653 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna; and men's center, 1228 W. Hubbard Central Christian Church, 44 S. Main St., will hold its second FALL COMMUNITY CLOTHES CLOSET from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday. All clothing has been donated.
Hospice of the Valley will host the annual AWESOME AUSSIE LUNCHEON at Outback Steakhouse, 7000 S. Tiffany Blvd., Youngstown, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday. The luncheon will be served by print, radio and television personalities with appetizers, raffles and trivia. Donation is $20. All proceeds benefit Hospice of the Valley. Gustavus Masonic Lodge and the Kinsman Volunteer Fire Department will hold a FRIED FISH DINNER from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the fire station, 8450 Ridge Road. Cost is $8.50 for adults, $8 for seniors and children age 12 and younger for $4.50. Desserts will be available at an extra charge. Takeouts available by calling 330-876-3375.
Grace United Methodist Church will be hosting a MOVIE NIGHT at 6 p.m. Friday showing Ben Stein's ''Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed.''
A SPAGHETTI DINNER and silent auction will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 140 Cherry St., Warren. Cost is $6 for adults and $4 for children younger than 10. Carry-outs will be available. All proceeds benefit the Trumbull County Kinship Navigators (Grandparents Raising Grandchildren). The money will be used to help local grandparents get gifts for the holidays that they otherwise will not be able to afford. There will be a CHINESE AUCTION at 6 p.m. Friday at Bloomfield High School. The drawings begin at 7 p.m. Admission is $3 per person, which includes 10 raffle tickets. The Austintown Middle School PTA will host its 26th annual AUTUMN CRAFT SHOW from 10 am. to 4 p.m. Saturday, at the school, 800 S. Raccoon Road. More than 200 vendors will have gifts, jewelry and holiday decorations. There will be baked goods for sale and a Chinese auction. Admission and parking are free.
