Thomas E. Williams 1923-2009

CORTLAND - Thomas E. ''Tucker'' Williams, 86, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009, at his residence.

Thomas was born Feb. 9, 1923, in Littleton, W.Va., a son of Edward and Pearl Crow Williams.

Thomas served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and retired from Packard Electric.

Survivors include two daughters, Donna Lakatos and Rhonda Hinrichs of Transfer, Pa.; a brother, John Williams of Weirton, W.Va.; sisters, Mary Wells of Pittsburgh, Shirley Zeck of St. Louis, June Evosivick of Uniontown, Pa., and Patty McKneely of Weirton; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Anderson Williams; a son, Phillip K.; and three sisters.

Calling hours will be 3 to 4 p.m. Wednesday with a memorial service at 4 p.m. at Crown Hill Chapel Mausoleum in Vienna.

Interment will be in Crown Hill Burial Park.

Selby-Simpson Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
